Sightseeing Chairlift Rides
Take in the view. Gain 1,230 ft elevation for a new perspective.
Going up! Enjoy a scenic ride on the Mile 1 Express chairlift to an elevation of 5,300 feet. Take in the breathtaking view of the Kootenay Rockies or venture along one of several alpine hiking trail options.
This is a fantastic family outing for all ages. Take in the view of the Purcell Mountains and the dramatic Mount Nelson (it's the highest peak across the valley with the flat top) on a relaxing chairlift ride on the Mile 1 Express. At the top, stop for some pictures or enjoy a hike. You can then return to the village by taking the chairlift back down.

Mile 1 Express Chairlift Sightseeing tickets are part of the Activity Card program and are available for purchase at Guest Services.
