The signs are all there. Snow is falling, your breath turns into a puff of fog that hangs in mid-air, the mercury in the thermometer is plummeting, and every morning you have to scrape the ice off your windshield. It all means one thing: the beginning of another ski season!
This will be out 60th year welcoming you back to Panorama, and we couldn't be more excited. We've put together a quick list of our favourite tips, tricks and tidbits so you can make the most of your season here!
Check our Daily Snow Report for the latest, no malarkey info on conditions — straight from the mountain. You’ll also find our current temperatures and our grooming report.
As the season starts, keep in mind that trail openings and closures may change throughout the day. Please obey all trail signs and flag-lines.
Masks are mandatory in all public indoor spaces for everyone aged 5 and older, there are no exceptions. We recommend keeping an extra mask stashed in your pocket in case you lose, or forget yours.
This winter, access to certain facilities and services will require proof of vaccination (POV). For those aged 19+, a government issued photo ID must accompany your POV.
For a quick guide of where masks and POV are required please visit our health and safety page.
Tickets are for sale online again! Save time and money by pre-purchasing your tickets. You can collect your pre-purchased tickets, passes and cards at Guest Services.
Once you have your Panorama RFID card, you can reload it from home! No lines, just straight to the chairlift. Learn more about your RFID card here.
Restaurants and cafés are open for service. In accordance with BC Government health guidelines, sit-down dining services and liquor services will require POV.
Take-out options and other alternatives are available for those without POV. The Mountain Huts (Summit & Elkhorn) will also be offering take-out options.
Check out what’s required for each business here.
We have lots of parking, but the prime spots fill quickly especially on weekends. If the sign or the parking attendant at the resort entrance says that the upper lot is full then please proceed to the lower lot by the Adventure Centre or alternatively Greywolf Golf Course for ski-in / ski-out access via the Sunbird Chair. Turning up the road towards the upper lot only causes congestion in that area and delays your time getting to the slopes. We appreciate your assistance in this. If the upper lot is full, it's full. On powder days and extra busy holidays, we’ll post updates to our Facebook Updates page as parking fills up.
While things have changed around the resort again, we’re all still here to do what we love: play in the mountains. Take a moment, pop into your skis — or tighten your bindings, and go have fun.
